Microneedling

Microneedling is a minimally invasive  procedure that can help resurface your skin. The process entails creating tiny microchannels, or holes, in a controlled setting  to cause an inflammatory

response.  This  procedure stimulates your skin’s natural ability to heal itself and in the process produces collagen and elastin. It can help improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, acne scarring, scars from trauma and incisions, skin tone, texture, and pigmentation issues.

Will the procedure be painful?

A topical numbing agent will be applied. Most patients barely feel any pain with the numbing cream, and even describe the sensation as tickling!

What is my downtime?

The area treated will be red usually no longer than 24 hours. The next day, it may look normal or a little like a sunburn. For 24 hours, you will need to remain out of the sun and not apply any lotions or makeup.

When will I see the results?

Some patients notice results as soon as 3 days. Maximum results will be 4 weeks after the procedure. Depending on skin damage, some patients will  need at least 3 sessions for optimal results.

How often can I have it done?

Once a month.
